I Have All or Part of an Asset Management Plan, Now What?

Have you started an asset management plan?  Have you completed an asset management plan? Have you hired a consultant or technical assistance provider to create a plan for you? Have you thought about developing an asset management plan for your system?  If any of these situations apply to you, you might also be asking the question, what do I do with my plan? What’s the next step? What kind of benefits might I be able to achieve?

This training is designed to be an opportunity for water utilities who have progressed in asset management to share with each other and learn about some of the ways the asset management plan can be put into practice.  The training will be highly interactive and discussion-based. As a bonus, this workshop will include an asset management expert from New Zealand who will share information regarding ways in which New Zealand communities have implemented asset management.  He can speak on condition assessment techniques, level of service, community engagement, and how to keep the plan implementation moving forward in a positive direction.

All attendees are welcome, but this workshop is especially relevant for those communities who have developed an asset management plan (either all or in part) or are implementing portions of asset management.  This will be a terrific opportunity to share with your peers.
